Last July, my friend Cindy visited me and we made a trip to the Amazon for a few days. We went to Amazoonico, a wildlife rehab facility near Tena. The ocelot in this picture is staring intently at one of the monkeys that was following us around on our tour.
More pictures of the cute ocelot!
This is a capybara, the largest rodent in the world. It has webbed feet and can be domesticated and used for meat, I think. These wooly monkeys were pretty obnoxious, and enjoyed lounging around in the middle of the walkway.
Cool looking toucan.
Another wooly monkey.
