New York City!

Just wanted to post a quick update with a little bit of news. Pierre got an offer to transfer to the NYC office of where he’s working now. He’s going to accept and move there in October, which is very exciting. Now I know where I need to start looking for jobs!

Pierre is already planning a welcome home party for me when I finish my Peace Corps service. It will probably be around the end of March, maybe over the Easter weekend. We´ll probably have it in either NYC or DC. All my friends and family are invited and Pierre will take care of the rest of the details =)

I bought myself some engagement rings in Otavalo for $0.50! I will post pictures of them soon. They are quite lovely. My real ring has to stay in the U.S. until I get back. I don´t want to risk losing the ring or having someone steal it while I´m here.

My dad was just here for 2 weeks. He took so many pictures! I will post some of them soon.
