No more packages
I will soon be filling my blog with lots of pictures of tropical amphibians and reptiles, and other cool things I saw in the field. I´ve been in the field for the past 3 weeks, and now I have a lot of catching up to do!Two things:
One of the packages that Pierre sent me last fall got lost or stolen, and I was really upset about it because it was our 3rd year anniversary package filled with lovely presents and a letter. So, I think I need to accept the fact that I should not receive any more packages while I´m here, unless they are small and can fit in a padded envelope. Another way to send me something is to send it to the next person who is going to visit me here, and have them carry it in their luggage. Or wait until my next visit to the U.S. to give it to me in person or send it to Pierre´s address.
Which leads me to my second point, my schedule of visitors for 2007! Pierre is going to visit in March, then Carrie and maybe Rakhi in May. If you would like to visit me in Ecuador, please plan your trip for some time in the latter half of 2007, July-November. I want to space my visitors out. Pierre is going to visit again in September or October, and then my dad and brother and sister-in-law are also going to visit some time this year. So reserve your visit dates soon, my schedule is filling up!
